Expert review of the structural sections of construction designs allows the client to make sure that the building meets safe construction standards. Structural design expert review is mandatory for buildings in Group 3 (excluding demolition projects) and is carried out to assess the compliance of the designed building with requirements related to the mechanical strength and stability of the building, fire safety, safety of use.
After expert review of the structural design, the head expert of SBS Design & Build prepares an expert opinion for the structural design section on whether the design meets the criteria set out in the national standards and building regulations. If the structural section meets the requirements, the head expert gives a positive opinion, and for a non-compliant construction project a negative opinion.
We are truly proud for participating in the development of Elemental Skanste Office Complex (25 Skanstes Street, Riga). In April 2019, the project was awarded the prestigious BREEAM International certificate of good construction practice in Europe. Elemental Skanste Office Complex was rated as Excellent reaching 80.1%.
